Having frequented New York City’s infamous nightclubs such as Exit, Sound Factory, Roxy, Crobar and Pacha, Ronin has grown to love all things Trance. It was in 2001 that his passion began. Having promoted for Club Exit, Ronin was comped into the events and on the Magikal night of December 14, DJ Tiësto was performing. That performance single handedly set Ronin onto a path of Trance Music.
After a few years of absorbing what Trance Music had to offer, Ronin took a chance at attempting to replicate sets that he has heard his favorite DJs play. By purchasing a used pair of cd players and 2 new Technics 1210 mk2 turntables allowed him to experiment with the art of DJing. Everyday since then has been a learning process for Ronin as he continues to gain knowledge on different aspects of the art form.
Today Ronin brings his sound influenced by countless hours of listening to his favorite DJs. The 3 biggest influences to him are Markus Schulz, Armin van Buuren and of course Tiësto. Meeting all three of these individuals has itself helped Ronin become more passionate about his music. 2008 brings a new focused DJ and that DJ is Ronin.
